Warehouse Assistant

Working with us at SGL Carbon, no two days will be the same. If you are looking for job variety  within a great team then this could be the role for you. 
This is a key role that involves:

  • Unloading, storing and moving raw materials on site
  • Packing, labelling and loading finished product
  • Assisting with stack counts and audits
  • Collecting special waste site-wide, movement of environmental waste and completing associated documentation
  • Ensuring warehouses are kept clean and tidy, and all warehouse activities comply with requirements
  • Carrying out site house keeping

 

Your Profile:

  • Applicants must have a minimum of 1 year's previous warehouse experience
  • Applicants must have previous experience of operating forklifts. A current forklift certificate would be advantageous
  • Applicants that are able to demonstrate some experience of working in a manufacturing environment or similar would be advantageous

 

 This role is offered initially on a 6 month temporary contract

40 hours per week Monday to Friday.

Salary-£26,000.00
