Process Supervisor
SUMMARY OF JOB CONTENTS
The Process Supervisor will perform under the direction and supervision of the Production Shift Manager and safely executes and trains to all duties as outlined in the Standard Production Work Instructions & Procedures. This individual has the responsibility for the safe production and packaging of all Carbon Fiber products as per their specifications, and the overall daily activities of any production line(s) and process buildings assigned to.
KEY ACCOUNTABILTIES
Supervisor
- Ensure all required procedures and policies are met and that team members perform the required functions in a safe, timely and effective manner to meet company objectives for safety, quality, productivity and costs.
- Ensure proper techniques are used in key situations such as correcting wraps, splicing, etc. by supporting the training of Operators/Trainers to current Operating Policies & Procedures.
- Responsible to support your Shift Manager in creating and in maintaining a positive team culture and to assist co-workers in performing tasks, as necessary.
- Accountable to oversee and be personally responsible for proper operator training.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
Supervisor
- Must have and maintain an excellent safety and attendance record.
- Must meet and maintain a Level 2 qualification status for all Production Trainer Benchmarks as outlined in the Production Performance Assessment Training Curriculum.
- Must be able to work rotating shift schedule.
- 2+ years leadership experience preferred.
- Work independently without close supervision and make efficient and effective decisions.
- Must be task & deadline oriented.
- Must possess an overall knowledge of plant equipment machinery and be able to learn processes and train new and current team members to them.
- Must be able to monitor fiber line processes and react safely, decisively and quickly to process problems.
- Must monitor fiber quality and ensure spool size and size content meet product specifications.
- Must quickly, safely and consistently respond to production line issues.
- Must properly maintain all equipment and tools; including but not limited to PPE and uniforms.
- Have excellent trainer, customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Have excellent mathematical ability.
- Have excellent computer skills.
- Have a high school diploma or equivilant.

Employees must occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds and repetitively lift and carry 35 lbs and push or pull up to 60 pounds. Must be able to control and manipulate pallet lifting device. Must be able to prove ability to safely and efficiently manipulate CF material through winders/rollers. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

While performing the functions of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to extreme heat, minimal concentration of chemicals and HCN below DOSH standards, frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is below OSHA required PPE levels but considered loud in some areas.

RATE INFORMATION
$28.00 - $32.00 Hourly + night and weekend shift differentials (2.50-7.50%) *Opportunity to move up the ladder rapidly
