Accounts Payable/General Ledger Europe (m/f/d) – Temporary 

Your opportunity:

• Manage all accounting tasks related to accounts payable, ensuring timely and efficient processing while verifying amounts, payment terms, and sales tax compliance
• Accurately code down payments and invoices to the appropriate general ledger accounts
• Maintain and update vendor records; collaborate with vendors and suppliers to resolve discrepancies, secure cash discounts, and confirm payment of outstanding invoices
• Investigate, resolve, and communicate discrepancies or outstanding balances on vendor accounts through phone, mail, or email correspondence
• Coordinate with global production sites and corporate functions to ensure seamless collaboration
• Process both regular and ad hoc general ledger postings
• Analyze and reconcile assigned general ledger accounts
• Execute month-end closing activities relevant to the role

Your profile:

• University degree in Management, Accounting, or Finance, with knowledge of accounting principles or relevant work experience
• Languages: Native or fluent English is mandatory; additional languages (DE, PT, IT, PL) are a plus
• Proficiency in SAP is mandatory
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to interact professionally with employees and external customers
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and follow through effectively
• Strong individual contributor with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team
