Manager Finance & Accounting

We have an exciting opportunity for a Manager Finance & Accounting to join our site team in Muir of Ord.

Your Opportunity:

  • To act as the Manager for Finance & Accounting, being responsible for two legal entities, SGL Carbon Fibers Ltd & SGL Carbon Ltd
  • Planning and Preparation of monthly/quarterly/annual accounts in accordance with legal and company instruction
  • Responsible for completion of the Annual Audit.
  • Preparing all statutory tax filings according to the regulations
  • To be the local contact person for Group Finance
  • Coordinating interface with the Shared Service Centre Finance Europe (SCFE) for our UK sites (Muir of Ord & Halifax).

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor degree in Accounting or equivalent commercial training or similar
  • Good knowledge of SAP R/3 and MS Office
  • Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA
  • Knowledge of UK Tax regulations
  • Experience in multi-national companies
  • Minimum of 5 years professional accounting experience in an industrial/production company
  • Ability to multi-task and perform with a high level of accuracy to meet conflicting and tight deadlines

Salary range: £46k-50k dependent on relevant experience
