Lab Technician



Laboratory technician will support testing activities associated with the evaluation and acceptance of incoming receiving inspection of raw material, 
evaluation of in-process properties of the product, and final inspection of product manufactured in the facility.  

•    Perform all inspections in accordance with the established procedures and work instructions.  
•    Document inspection results electronically or manually as prescribed.  
•    Maintain accurate and complete records of inspection.  
•    Maintain a clean and orderly work area and support 5S activities.  
•    Follow all safety rules and adhere fully with the use of personal protection equipment as identified in procedures and work instructions.  
•    Perform other duties in support of production and operations as needed.  
•    Coordinate the inspection activities with production and shipping schedules. 
•    Assist with training new technicians 
•    Assist with quality audits and process improvement activities.  



•    Prior experience in using Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS)
•    Prior work experience in an ISO9001 and or TS16969 environment
•    AA Degree or higher from an accredited college or university.  
•    Prior experience with the inspection of mechanical, physical and chemical properties of carbon fibers and composite materials.  
•    Formal training or familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) techniques.  



•    High school diploma.  
•    Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience as a laboratory technician. 
•    Experience in the use of computers and working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
•    Good communication skills (verbal & writing)
•    Ability to prioritize effectively, organize and follow through on multiple tasks.
