Summary of Job Content: 

This position is responsible to design, improve, modify, and maintain the physical infrastructure of the facility and its manufacturing equipment.  Mechanical design for new projects to support production and equipment upgrades to improve machine efficiency.  Project Management for projects across the site.
Perform any other duties, as required by the department supervisor or manager, to support department, plant and company objectives and/or goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities


•    Design of facilities and systems.
•    Installation of facilities and systems.
•    Project Management from conception to Commissioning.
•    Start-up systems.
•    Establish operation parameters of systems.
•    Provide training on system operation and maintenance.
•    Maintenance of facilities and systems
•    Retrofit of facilities and systems.
•    Environmental controls.
•    Fire protection systems.
•    Energy management and building control.
•    Assist maintenance staff in troubleshooting equipment/systems. 
•    Effectively plan shut down time and utilize Plan, Do, Check, Act to improve.
•    Plan and schedule 3rd party maintenance and ensure activities are accurately reflected in CMMS.
•    Actively encourages coworkers to work safely.




•    BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering
•    10+ Years experience
•    Excellent troubleshooting skills
•    AutoCAD Experience
•    Highly flexible with good organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.


Preferred Experience:


•    PMP Certification
•    SolidWorks Experience
