Global Manager Logistics & Planning (f/m/d)

Your Opportunity:

You are responsible for all inbound and outbound transports of BU CF in the field of global logistics, including general processes as well as individual shipments: 

• Review & improve logistic concepts such as warehousing, consignment stocks, etc.
• Introduce new tools to improve logistics tracking and closer integration with logistic providers 
• Improve shipping processes at individual sites
• Act as trouble shooter for individual shipments in case of difficulties
• Support tenders & selection of logistic partners 
• Develop and implement suitable KPIs

You work with Production Planners, Sales and Purchasing to optimize production planning and customer supply across all sites of BU CF:

• Run and improve the Sales & Operations Planning process
• Review approach to demand planning as well as to production planning, considering standard tools such as APO / IBP
• Manage interface to Global Purchasing to ensure timely raw material supply

In addition to the listed German locations the position can also be filled at our Muir of Ord (UK) site.

Your Profile:

• Master or diploma degree in the field of business management or similar with focus on Supply Chain Management and Logistics
• At least 6 years’ experience in the conception of complex Supply Chains and Logistics as well as customs & export control 
• Strong communication and project management skills
• Ability to work in global and cross-functional teams
• Fluent in English and German
